A WINE TOURISM WORKSHOP? BUT, WHAT IS IT?<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Because the oenology world keeps on growing every day and keeps attracting always new wine lovers, an exhibition has specially been organised to pay tribute to this viticultural and vinicultural art and to wine-related activities and workshops. But wine tourism isn\u2019t just about the vineyard\u2019s activity, it is all about how these wine activities are related to the tourism world<\/strong> and being discovered by the general public and rediscovered by the most sophisticated palates.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Wine tourism, concept understood. Everything organised around wine and tourism themes. But, then, why are we talking about \u201cWorkshop\u201d?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It\u2019s actually a characteristic of the exhibition. Its aim is to make professionals gather around a common purpose<\/strong>, presently wine, and more particularly wine tourism.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Thus, on last March 12<\/strong>th<\/strong><\/sup>, a lot of wine tourism and viticulture well-known names<\/strong> gathered in the Hangar 14 of Bordeaux.<\/p>\r\n

THE WHOLE OF FRANCE CAME TO BORDEAUX<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The whole of France made the trip out to our beautiful city of the French wine capital, Bordeaux,<\/strong> for the occasion. Each region and, regarding Bordeaux\u2019s wines, each designation was represented<\/strong> at this Wine Tourism Workshop Exhibition. From Champagne\u2019s to Languedoc\u2019s region, on the way of Alsace\u2019s, and for Bordeaux\u2019s<\/strong> region: M\u00e9doc, Saint-Emilion, Graves et Sauternes as well as Pomerol, all of them had their own site in the exhibition.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

These French<\/strong> wines<\/strong> were represented by Ch\u00e2teaux<\/strong> and<\/strong> vineyards<\/strong> as well as winetourism<\/strong> professionals<\/strong>, that-is-to-say companies working on activities around wine sector or around oenology workshops.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

But wine professionals were not the only lucky people. Were also invited: medias, promotion offices, tour operators, touristic areas, incoming and travel agencies as well as organisations and\/or companies working on wine tourism activities, such as boats or helicopters. These<\/strong> tourism<\/strong> professionals, associated with viticultural<\/strong> properties<\/strong>, embodied all the wealth of the exhibition, thanks to their knowledge of the tourism world and the oenological activities selling strategies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

BECAUSE AN EXHIBITION WITHOUT CONFERENCES ISN\u2019T A REAL EXHIBITION\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The event, more than making wine and tourism professionals get in touch, was enliven by several conferences and discussions <\/strong>focusing on the commercial evolution of wine tourism projects<\/strong>. Amongst broached themes, we can raise, for instance, the influence of digital and written press, how to raise commercial relationships with national and international distributors or how to establish a commercial dialogue with wine tourism giants like La Cit\u00e9 du Vin.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This exhibition was aiming at helping viticultural properties turn into<\/strong> wine<\/strong> tourism<\/strong> professionals and assisting developing companies with their growth.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

And, little bonus, the exhibition allowed them to discover the specificities of wines from new horizons<\/strong>, such as Sussex\u2019s!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In a nutshell, it was a very pleasant Wine Tourism Workshop gathering, thanks to a common goal, wine<\/strong> tourism<\/strong> professionals<\/strong> from the whole of France. They met other professionals from wine tourism sector and discussed with them in order to discover<\/strong> new<\/strong> wines<\/strong> and to get as much advice for their wine tourism activity\u2019s expansion as they could.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

BREAKING NEWS: INCOMING GOOD DEAL<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

March is coming to an end. That means April will soon be there, as well as\u2026 Easter<\/strong>!!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This childish spirit and all those good chocolates<\/strong>\u2026 it\u2019s not Christmas time but we\u2019re getting close to it. For the occasion, L.O. Wine<\/a><\/strong> is getting ready to please the luckiest ones and preparing a gourmand surprise<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
