When people think of a wine workshop in Bordeaux, they often picture the same thing: a group in a cellar, someone talking in front of glasses, and an hour later you leave with a vague memory and a brochure. That’s not what I do.<\/p>\n

There are many different ways to experience wine – depending on what you want to learn, who you’re with, and what the occasion is. Here are the five formats I host in Bordeaux, each built from my catalogue.<\/p>\n

  1. The Cr\u00e9aWine\u00ae blending workshop: create your own wine<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This is my signature experience, awarded at the Concours L\u00e9pine, France’s most prestigious innovation competition. Each participant plays the role of head winemaker: blending their own grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, to create their personalised cuv\u00e9e. We test different ratios, understand how aromas and structure evolve with each blend, and defend our choices in front of the group. At the end, everyone leaves with their own personalised bottle and a detailed aromatic profile of their preferences.<\/p>\n

    It’s the most popular format – for hen parties, team buildings, and private groups alike. Because it creates a tangible, unexpected memory that nobody saw coming.<\/p>\n

    1. Painting with wine: a different way to create with wine<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This is the most surprising workshop in the catalogue. Each participant receives a personalised support, a sketch or mandala, that represents something directly connected to them: their company’s headquarters, the property where the event is taking place, the venue of the hen party. And that’s what we colour, tint, and bring to life with red wine.<\/p>\n

      What makes this workshop unique is the starting point. Not a blank page, a personalised sketch that represents something real. We’re not creating something generic; we’re painting our own moment. The wine becomes pigment, brush, material. No artistic skills required. Just being present, letting go, and letting the wine do the rest.<\/p>\n

      Each participant leaves with their own piece, tinted with the natural hues of the wine, rooted in a place or moment that belongs to them.<\/p>\n

      1. Caviar, Grands Crus Class\u00e9s & Champagne: tasting the territory<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Bordeaux is the Gironde estuary. And the estuary is both the birthplace of the Grands Crus Class\u00e9s, all planted along the river, and the natural habitat where the sturgeons are raised that produce Aquitaine IGP caviar. There’s something deeply coherent about this workshop: we taste the territory in its entirety, from the river to the vines.<\/p>\n

        The tasting pairs three caviars, including Aquitaine IGP caviar, with Grands Crus Class\u00e9s from Bordeaux and a Champagne, all selected for the coherence of their pairings. A dry white GCC, a Champagne, a 1855 Grand Cru Class\u00e9 liquoreux – each reveals a different facet of the caviar. For those lucky enough to experience it on a boat on the Gironde estuary, it becomes something even more powerful: you taste the territory with the water right beside you.<\/p>\n

        The workshop is hosted by Laetitia Ouspointour, oenologist and holder of a Champagne Education Level 4 diploma, an expertise that allows her to explain each pairing with precision and describe exactly what’s happening in the glass.<\/p>\n

          Wine has long been put in a box – serious, complex, reserved for connoisseurs. This workshop does the exact opposite.<\/p>\n

          The idea is simple: what if wine were just another ingredient? A fresh, vibrant one that you can use as the base of a cocktail with fruit, herbs, spices – to create something new, light, and surprising. No jargon, no austere tasting. Just creativity, experimentation, and drinks you actually want to drink.<\/p>\n

          It’s a gateway into the world of wine unlike any other. You discover wine through taste and creativity, not theory. And more often than not, that’s how you actually start to love it.<\/p>\n

          1. Discovering the wines of Bordeaux: understanding the territory<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Bordeaux isn’t just a wine region. It’s a mosaic of appellations, each with its own character. Left bank, right bank: Saint-\u00c9milion, Pomerol, Margaux, Pessac-L\u00e9ognan – each territory tells a different story. This format is a journey through those appellations, glass by glass.<\/p>\n

            It’s the ideal format for groups who want to learn while having fun, without jargon. I calibrate the session to the group’s level, from a complete introduction to a thematic exploration for more experienced wine lovers.<\/p>\n

            How to choose the right format?<\/strong><\/p>\n

            The first question I always ask: who is it for, and what’s the occasion? A group of friends looking to have fun has different expectations from a corporate team wanting to impress clients, or a couple looking for something unique in Bordeaux.<\/p>\n

            In every case, each session starts with a conversation. You tell me about your group, the occasion, and what you want to experience. I build the format from there, duration, selection, location.
