Team Building Blending Workshop in Bordeaux: Energize Your Team
Discover an original concept that combines a passion for wine with team cohesion goals. With our team building blending workshop, immerse your team in the world of Bordeaux’s great wines while boosting collaboration and engagement.
A Unique Concept to Strengthen Your Team
Each participant is invited to explore the art of blending by combining different grape varieties to create a unique wine. This approach offers an immersive experience where everyone gets involved in the taste and aroma choices. Through this exercise, teams develop smooth communication and learn to make joint decisions.

Clear Goals for Managers and Their Teams
Our workshop is more than just a tasting: it’s a tool for managers aiming to improve group dynamics. By encouraging exchanges and initiative, you enable your team to better understand each other’s strengths. As a result, you’ll see stronger collective engagement and tangible results in day-to-day work.
Thanks to this experience, your teams will leave with:
A more unified vision of their common goals
A better understanding of each other’s skills
Increased motivation to tackle upcoming professional challenges together
Beyond the fun aspect, our corporate team building fosters mutual understanding and greater cohesion. Team members explore different aspects of wine tasting, refine their palates, and develop a shared curiosity that leads to greater communication. This immersive approach boosts motivation and creates lasting memories that support their daily collaboration. Stéphanie Pierron-Dahmani: “3 days of training with Laetitia, perfect, she is very professional and the training was very interesting. Thank you for activating our palates with these excellent tastings (CMSO)”

Team-Based Blending
During our Team Building Blending Workshop, your colleagues gather around two major grape varieties: Merlot and Cabernet. Each team receives samples and learns about their taste characteristics. By comparing aromas, roundness, and structure, participants determine the ideal blend for their custom cuvée.
This stage promotes group discussion: how to combine Merlot’s softness with Cabernet’s power? Discussions focus on balance, mouthfeel, or desired lightness. Through trial and error, team members sharpen their perceptions and discover the benefits of active listening. They end up creating a personalized wine that reflects their diverse preferences, while reinforcing their unity around a common goal.
Label Design
Once the blend is approved, it’s time for visual creativity! Each group designs a unique label to showcase their wine. The choice of colors, names, and slogans reflects the team spirit and originality.
Far from being a mere decorative detail, this stage requires real thought about the wine’s identity. Whether minimalist or bold, the label must convey a clear message. It’s also an opportunity to highlight the qualities of Merlot and Cabernet while illustrating the harmony achieved through teamwork. Everyone contributes their ideas, boosting involvement and strengthening group pride.

The Final Pitch
To conclude the workshop, each team presents their creation to the group. This final pitch highlights the process: from selecting the grapes to designing a striking label. Speakers describe the wine’s personality, its balance between Merlot and Cabernet, and explain their visual choices.
This moment encourages public speaking and showcases each person’s talents. Colleagues discover new sides of each other: speaking ease, humor, stage presence… The audience engages with questions or compliments. This final step further strengthens bonds and leaves a lasting memory: having shared a unique experience around Bordeaux wine, while deepening team spirit and the desire to collaborate effectively.
Two Red Wines, Two Expressions of Bordeaux’s Vineyards
Bordeaux is a region where red wines display a great variety of styles, shaped by unique terroirs. To better understand these nuances, we will taste two wines from different soils and climates:
- A right bank wine: with clay-limestone soils and a milder climate, this side favors round and velvety wines, often dominated by Merlot.
- A left bank wine: where gravelly, well-drained soils and a stronger maritime influence allow Cabernet Sauvignon to thrive, producing more structured, age-worthy wines.
The goal of this double tasting is to explore how terroir differences influence the wine’s character: its structure, aromas, and mouthfeel. By focusing on their own sensations, everyone will be able to identify what sets these two expressions apart.

Two Options for Your Workshop
To provide a wine workshop that fits your organization, we offer two formats:
At Château Vieux Mougnac: Enjoy a more immersive experience by visiting our family vineyard in the heart of Bordeaux. The visit includes a tour of the estate followed by the blending workshop, offering insights into the history of Merlot and Cabernet grapes.
At Your Office or Chosen Venue: We bring all necessary equipment to recreate the same friendly atmosphere. This option is ideal if you want to include the workshop during a workday or a planned event. You get the same content (tasting, blending, label design, final pitch), with the flexibility to choose the location.
In both cases, we ensure that everyone fully experiences the corporate team building workshop, with a focus on cohesion, interaction, and the pleasure of discovering wine culture. We adjust the duration between 1.5 and 3 hours to meet your objectives while maintaining the balance between learning and sharing.
